Home Staging – Condo staged at Washington DC
Condo staged at Washington DC
Jocelyn Vas from Compass, contacted us a few weeks ago to stage a condo at ….. Washington DC. Since we had worked with Jocelyn before, she knew how we do our job at MuralizeIt Interiors. Although we had worked with her staging homes near Annapolis in the past, staging a condo in DC was a new challenge for us. The apartment was a totally renovated one bedroom unit at a three level building in a growing area of DC. It has access to park at the back of the building through an alley, this is very convenient to park our truck and drop off all our items.
Considering the location -Washington DC- , target -small apartment targeted for a young single  person or a couple, most probably millennials- and style of the apartment -a totally renovated apartment with new high end appliances- , we staged the condo in a little, more urban and modern style than the one we use for single homes at the Annapolis area.
We included a dining table with four chairs into a corner of the living area, just under the only window in the room. We put also two grey barstools by the countertop which gave the room an idea of a multifunctional area. We completed the staging of the living room with a sofa and two beautiful accent chairs, and some glass and black metal side tables.
We gave color to the apartment adding teal accents to the living room, the master bedroom and the bathroom. In the master bedroom we hung paintings of Pam Sander- our favorite Annapolis local artist – over the headboard. We added some other teal touches like pillowcases, decorations, books, and art. In the living room, we also included tale vases and decorations as well as a very delightful canvas over the console table.
The apartment was ready to list in two days and Jocelyn and Mark (the owner) were really happy with the results.
