Home staging at Edgewater by MuralizeIt Interiors:

A few days ago, we did a full home staging of this beautiful house in Gingerville Manor Estates, Edgewater,
MD. The house is listed with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices/PenFed Realty, and the real
estate agent, Larry Wachter, contacted us to give this newly renovated home some life and
warmth with interior design. Gingerville is a family neighborhood, and the house has several
bedrooms (suitable for a family with children), therefore we decided that a the home staging had
to have an interior design that appealed to families.
One of the bedrooms was decorated for a young boy, using blue as the primary color. The other
bedroom was targeting a teen girl, with predominantly pink colors. For the Master bedroom, the staging
aimed to produce a modern interior design, using a mirror, modern pictures and objects on white
furniture. Here we paid special attention to an important rule in home staging (and interior design in
general), which is to complement and combine the colors of pillows and cushions with those of framed
pictures, bedspreads and other accent accessories.
We continued the home staging with a family room, an office, a dining room and a living room. For the
latter we used blue and aqua tones throughout the interior design. The kitchen and breakfast area were
easy to decorate, since they have plenty of light and large windows.
The real estate agent tells us that the community has a swimming pool and it is only a few minutes drive
from downtown Annapolis. We hope that the home staging of this beautiful house in Edgewater will
soon have a new family living in it.
