While the living room and kitchen are the main areas to stage, bathrooms are also very important. The first thing the buyers are going to see in a bathroom is it’s cleanliness. Some suggestions home stagers give to owners on the cleanliness side is to remove stains in the walls, the sink, the shower, the glass and the floors. If possible, freshen up caulking around the sink and the shower. If the house is occupied, it is important to declutter and put away all personal items.
Our job as stagers is to add certain touches to the bathroom to give it a more luxurious and spa like ambiance.
In this bathroom we added damask color accents with a set of towels and a nice luxury rug. We completed the decoration with two damask color flowers in white vases and a small picture on the same color over the toilet. Simple and elegant!
This white and modern master bathroom was completed with white and purple accent towels, a nice glass vase on top of the toilet and a set of soaps inside a glass vase with the same color. This bathroom was part of a home staging we did in Edgewater, MD.
When a home staging is done, the perfect element to give a luxury and spa like ambiance to a bathroom is a wooden bath tub tray with towels. In this case we added a white flower on a small silver vase and two extra hand towels on the side matching the two on the tray.
Homes in the Annapolis area are perfect for coastal décor. We use a lot of blue on our home stagings. Here is an example of blue accents in a master bathroom. A nice blue picture over the bathtub matching the towels and some flowers give the bathroom a warm and fresh style.
This more classic and elegant powder room is decorated also in coastal blue style. The accents are two white hand towels with blue anchors, blue towels and a blue canvas with a white sailboat.
